Crimson Viper by AmmieChan Crimson Viper by AmmieChan
After playing Street Fighter 4 C. Viper's character really grew on me. Other then her outta this world hair style or sexy business look, the character had a real persona about her.
The hardest thing about this costume was obviously the wig styling. This was the first major wig project I did on my own. The wig is an Ivy in henna red from Cosworx. It also has 3 long henna red extensions weaved into it. The roll on top is actually removable. It is woven into the hair by french braiding it down into the ponytail.
The blazer I bought and tore out the lining and replaced it with gold taffetta lining. The dress pants I had as well as the belt with buckle. The boots I had on hand already. The gloves were purchased leather gloves. I added 3D paint and silver spots onto them. The glasses were yellow saftey glass replacments. I added a piece of craftfoam in the center of them and they flash tape to my face. The earrings I made from silver crosses.
The top I made from cotton, it is lined. The purple tie was left over purple satin I had. I added purple buttons to match the tie.
This photo was taken at Fanexpo 2009.

Personally, I don't like C. Viper, but I must admit that you're an exact clone of her. Everything was perfect (costume, hairstyle, , pose, etc.).

Great picture! ;)

P.S. Do you like other fighting games?

The wig was the hardest thing about this costume. It was my first wig project. Turned out pretty good. It weighs about 4 pounds though. I get a headache if I wear it for more then 2 hours lol.
I do plan on making a Cammy and Chun Li cosplay...one day ;)
I do like fighting games! Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Dead or Alive and Tekken :)

Chun-Li? That's great because she is my favorite super heroine! =D Have you heard of Skullgirls? It's a fighting game, which came out for XBOX Live Arcade and PlayStation Network some years ago. Its characters have an interesting design, which might be a challenge for a wonderful cosplayer like you, for example: Parasoul, Valentine or Cerebella. What do you think?

That game may ring a bell. I have not tried it though. I will check it out for sure! I was considering costumes from a game called Death Smiles. It's a rare game, but all the characters appear in lolita style dresses XD

Thanks! The wig was the first wig styling project I have ever done. It really is what makes or breaks the costume lol.
