A Lothlorien Dream

One of the dresses I designed and made from made inspired by the Lord of the Rings. I used all navy and dark blues. My inspiration was the night sky, hence the dark blue with crystals to represent stars.
I hand beaded the corset and sleeves and rolled hemmed serged the the sheer fabrics.
I made the circlet from wire and crystals. A lot of work went into this dress and was made over the course of about 3 days.
The character is an original character I created. Although in an elven style gown, the race of this specific character is a sprite (also known as fairy, they are about the size of hobbits).
